Oatmeal walls and oatmeal furniture, here we come! The homeowners of this newly built home were starting from scratch and asked for help bringing their personalities into their space, making it feel like their own. Sat Hari was asked to design and style their open concept living room, dining, and entry areas, with the request of a calming, un-fussy space where the family could spend time together and entertain. They wanted color accents of blues and greens, plants, and for their newly purchased living room furniture, dining furniture, and Buddha statues to be incorporated.

The overall living room design was anchored with a deep blue-gray accent wall creating balance to the kitchen opposite the living space. A large rug was selected to hold the sitting area of the room, and plants, styling items, and art were placed throughout the connected spaces to create continuity and flow. For the entry, we purchased an oversized 4' x 7' carved wooden mirror to fit the scale of the tall entry wall, creating drama and presence in the home's foyer. read less.. read more
