Yogi Tea is the first-ever constructed LEED certified tea plant in the world. We were tasked with designing 25,000 sq ft of new office space, working within a 190,000 sq ft building. A handful of finishes were already installed, including carpeting, some paint, and some standard office furniture. Our primary task was creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere in keeping with the company’s values and eastern roots. Reflecting their brands and culture of caring for its people and the planet was front and center throughout the design and execution of this project.

One of the building’s highlights is a custom 9’ x 9’ canvas mural designed and painted by Sat Hari. A full-color Yogi mandala, including symbolic imagery reflecting the origins of the company and a collection of many of the herbs and botanicals used in their products, is set on the main stairwell landing observable from both the first and second floor. Throughout the building, custom murals, custom art, and nature pieces were created and a large selection of plants installed.

The materials we chose complied with Yogi Tea’s LEED Certification. We repurposed locally sourced lumber for an 18-ft live edge conference table and other custom-designed cabinetry and furniture for the main conference room. We created an art installation featuring Doing Good projects from around the world and made a purposeful effort to include a significant amount of plant life throughout each space.

We wanted the various meeting rooms to be businesslike yet unconventional and inviting. With assigned themes of herbs, spices, and botanicals, we refreshed the rooms with earthy wall colors and prepared and installed vibrant photo collages befitting each room. Per employee requests, one of the meeting rooms we designed was unconventionally casual and comfortable, outfitted with a sectional sofa, armchairs, and side tables. In addition to the interior conference rooms, we furnished two outside meeting / lounge areas for employees to enjoy. read less

“I have thoroughly enjoyed observing the many interior design updates and transformations created by Sat Hari within my place of employment over the past several years. Sat Hari has such a wonderful gift; her natural artistic talent brings life and positive energy to any room she touches. Her designs are innovative and refreshing, with improved flow and required functionality of the space. Her work is her passion, which I recognized the moment I met her. She is methodical, well organized, and has exceptional communication whilst always maintaining your needs as top priority. With great attention to detail and a personality that fills the room with light, I would highly recommend Sat Hari for any interior design projects you may have in mind!”
