Sat Hari was asked to design & install a whimsical bedroom with touches of magic for this family’s 8 year old daughter’s room. The request was to keep things young and playful, incorporate pink, and design the space with the ability to easily update the room as their daughter grows into her teen years.

We designed a neutral backdrop with colorful accents and flow. Selected all new furniture for the space except for the bed, for which Sat Hari designed an upholstered slipcover for the headboard to transform the existing wood headboard to a comfortable cozy resting space. Sat Hari painted a custom designed mural in the entry of the room and installed a wallpapered accent wall behind the desk (not shown). The canopy of the bed was a big request form her young client and to infuse the room with some nighttime magic, Sat Hari installed glow in the dark stars fanning out from the canopy top. read less.. read more
